Resten av kvällen och alla kvällar på en vecka så övade Jonna sig i att försöka hitta Inez när hon stod gömd, när Jonna hade ögonbindel på sig och när det var mörkt. Det var väldigt svårt i början, men efter ett tag så började hon kunna ana något särskilt där Inez stod. Det var svårt att beskriva, bara en magkänsla hon fick ibland och hon blev bättre och bättre på att pinpointa den.
På nätterna så drömde de tillsammans, det var konstigt att träffas i en drömvärld där hon var helt medveten, men inte hade en fysisk kropp. Efter ett par dar fick hon designa världen och de träffades på stränder, berg och i hotellobbyer. Men hon lyckades inte starta upp drömvärlden själv, hon undrade varför, men Inez ryckte på axlarna och sa att Estrids släkte inte var så bra på det mentala.
Allt häxeri tog mycket tid och energi, men hon fann att det inte var svårt att orka med både skola och kompisar. Det var som att hon blivit starkare, även om hennes kropp blev trött så kunde hon pusha den hårdare.
Inez hade sagt att vissa häxor kunde förvara saker i andra dimensioner och det förmodligen var där som kronan var nu. Men hon kunde inte göra det skälv och Jonna hade ingen ide om hur hon skulle kunna få fram den. Hon hade försökt kontakta modern, men hade inte fått något svar.
På fredagen var det Solveigs begravning, den gick fort och Jonna hade svårt att koncentrera sig. Efter begravningen var det kaffe, Jonna satt och försökte så diskret som möjligt sms:a med Maja. De skulle ses alla tre hos henne på kvällen och sova över. Majas föräldrar var på en hundutställning med sina Jack Russell terriers hela helgen och de skulle se på film och göra pizza.
Föräldrarna släppte av henne vid gården och Maja kom ut för att välkomna henne. Det kändes på något sätt mer fel att inte berätta om häxerierna för hennes vänner än för hennes familj. Hon hade haft hemligheter för sina föräldrar förut och det var mycket hon inte berättade för sina bröder, men hon hade aldrig undanhållit något för Maja och Elvira tidigare, hon undrade om de hade några hemligheter för henne?

Jonna kände att hon absolut inte ville ha en pojkvän, det skulle vara en annan häxa i så fall, att behöva gå bakom ryggen på en till person som stod henne nära hade vart alldeles för komplicerat. Tillslut så somnade de, klockan var långt efter tolv.
Hon träffade Inez i drömmen, de var på taket till en restaurang, hon satt och drack en fruktig drink och Inez hade solhatt på sig.
